Bio

Dr. Pettit is an emergency medicine resident physician. He earned his DO from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. His professional interests are in research, critical care and hematology/oncology in the ED. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and son, playing with their dogs, hiking, golfing, ultimate Frisbee, brewing beer and traveling. His favorite things about practicing emergency medicine at IU School of Medicine are the clinical opportunites and faculty. “The level of training, acuity, volume, responsibility, and autonomy here is unparalleled,” he says. “Further, the faculty members, both in the ED and off service, are dedicated to our education, which makes for a great experience.”
