Bio

Dr. Seitz is a tried and true computer nerd and has been since his early days. In high school, he joined the IQ Crew, Circuit City's version of the Geek Squad. He continued to work there while completing his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dan went on to complete his emergency medicine residency at IU School of Medicine and subsequently completed the clinical informatics fellowship at IU School of Medicine and Regenstrief Institute. He continues to bring his geek sensibilities to the practical challenges of the emergency department at Eskenazi. He has strong aspirations to improve the experience in the EMR using other aspects of technology. However, Dan says he will be the first to rise against the machines when they finally become sentient.
