Elizabeth Weinstein, MD

A native of New England, Elizabeth graduated from Bowdoin College in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in History. After completing her medical education at the University of Massachusetts, Elizabeth moved to Indianapolis for her residency training in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. Triple board certified in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and EMS, she splits her clinical and teaching duties between the Eskenazi Emergency Department and the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center at Riley Hospital for Children. Additionally, she serves as Deputy Medical Director for Pediatrics for Indianapolis EMS.  Her scholarship and academic interests are primarily focused on healthcare communication, pediatric emergency care, and out-of-hospital care. While she is still a loyal Boston sports Fan, and lover of all things New England, she has now lived in Indy long enough to be able to field (and sometimes successfully answer) questions about the Indy 500. When not working she is an avid alpine skier and winter outdoor enthusiast.
