Postdoctoral Training in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology faculty participate as mentors and principal investigators for multiple NIH-funded training grants, including alcoholism, diabetes and cancer. All trainees are encouraged to prepare their own fellowship applications for national funding opportunities, such as those from the National Institutes of Health, the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundations.

Postdoctoral education programs offered by the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology team:

GRDM-G505: Responsible Conduct of Research (required for all NIH-funded trainees)
GRDM-G507: Reagent validation as a means for enhanced research productivity
