Bio
Dr. McNiece completed undergraduate training at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He went on to Indiana University for his doctor of medicine degree. He completed his anesthesiology internship and residency at Indiana University Hospitals and went on to complete his fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology and intensive care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. McNiece has been with Indiana University Hospitals since 1980 and currently holds the titles of Associate Professor of Anesthesia and Gopal Krishna Scholar in Pediatric Anesthesia. Dr. McNiece is the Medical Director of the Anesthesiologist Assistant Degree Program at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. McNiece has also been a part of providing core curriculum lectures to all members of the Anesthesia Department at IU as part of the primary and continuing education offererd within the department and takes part in providing mock oral exams to pediatric anesthesiology fellows in preparation for the American Board of Anesthesiologist oral exams.
