Bio

Richard Dahl has a long-standing interest in determining how genes are turned on and off during the development of blood cells and how this normal process becomes disrupted in leukemia cells.

Most recently his lab has investigated how small RNA molecules program blood development and immune responses during cancer and autoimmune disease.

His research has been funded by the American Cancer Society, the American Society of Hematology, Leukemia Research Foundation, the Showalter Trust and the National Institutes of Health.
