Charles N. Rudick, PhD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology, Medical Sciences Program
Dr. Rudick is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology of the IU School of Medicine and joins a growing cadre of colleagues with responsibilities in teaching among IUSM nine-campus system. Dr. Rudick serves as the Statewide Course Director for both Fundamentals of Health and Disease and Cardiovascular & Hematology; additionally, he teaches pharmacology and physiology components of multiple Phase 1 courses. Dr. Rudick earned his Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan. In 2005 at Northwestern University, he earned the Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Fellowships at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in the Departments of Physiology and Urology. He is also experienced as an Adjunct Lecturer of the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. In 2018, he received both the Trustee Teaching Award and the Exemplar of Professionalism Award from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Since 2017, for the school’s new integrated curriculum, he serves on the Elective Subcommittee of the IUSM Curriculum Council Steering Committee. Dr. Rudick recently was appointed faculty co-chair of the Foundational Component Committee of the IUSM Curriculum Council Steering Committee.
