Transportation and parking issues are hassle-free on the Fort Wayne campus, thanks to free parking offered to IU School of Medicine students.

Transportation and Parking

Among the many appealing aspects of medical education at IU School of Medicine’s Fort Wayne campus is free student parking. That’s right; parking is always free for students. Medical students are allowed to park in any lot or garage, unless the spot is marked for faculty and staff. And a 1,000-car parking garage is located close to the Medical Education Building.

IU School of Medicine-Fort Wayne is located on northern edge of the Purdue University Fort Wayne campus. The medical school building is adjacent to a parking garage with four levels of free parking. Free lot parking is also available right outside of the building.

In terms of public transit, Fort Wayne offers multiple bus lines to get around town.
