2017 E.C. Moore Symposium on Excellence in Teaching

Registration for the 2017 E.C. Moore Symposium on Excellence in Teaching is now open. This year’s symposium will feature a keynote address by Dr. Jillian Kinzie, Associate Director of the Center for Postsecondary Research and the NSSE Institute at the IU Bloomington School of Education. The plenary address will be delivered by Rob Elliott, Lecturer in Computer and Information Technology at the School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI and recipient of the 2016 IUPUI Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

The E.C. Moore Symposium brings the Indiana higher education community together to examine teaching excellence and the instructional strategies employed in various disciplines to encourage student learning. This year’s symposium will feature concurrent sessions, a poster session and presenters’ reception, a showcase of student ePortfolios, and other opportunities to interact with students and colleagues. The 2017 E.C. Moore Symposium will be held at the IUPUI Campus Center on Friday, March 3, 2017.
