The Reflections team is looking for anyone interested in submitting a piece to be published in the 2018 Reflections journal, IUSM’s student-run creative arts publication.

What can I submit?
All works of self-expression across the IUSM community are welcome! Here are some examples:

  • Essays
  • Photographs
  • Poems
  • Drawings
  • Paintings
  • Digital media

What is this year’s theme and where will it be published?
The theme for this year is: adaptation and change in medicine Reflections will be published in print and distributed at the White Coat Ceremony. The journal will also be available online. This project counts as a peer-reviewed publication for students and recent graduates.

Submission Instructions:
Submissions can be made anonymously. Multiple submissions are also accepted.

Submit all works of art to: reflect@iupui.edu

Please include the following information in your email:

  1. Name (optional)
  2. Year/Faculty Position (optional)
  3. Title of submission (required)
  4. Description of submission (If submitting an art piece such as a painting, drawing, or photograph, please describe your thoughts/inspiration regarding your submission)

The deadline for submission is April 27, 2018.
