Adhitya Balaji, a third-year student at IU School of Medicine's Evansville campus, recently received a Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Foundation (SAEMF) grant for his research project, "Integration of Simulation into Rapid Sequence Intubation Training for Advanced Life Support/Basic Life Support Paramedics."The focus of the innovative project is to enhance provider competence and confidence, which ultimately improves patient outcomes in high-acuity situations.
