MSRP

NIH's Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP)—accepting applications starting September 1—is a premier, year-long residential research training program which seeks to attract talented, research-oriented medical, dental, and veterinary students to the NIH intramural campus in Bethesda, Md., and its satellite campuses.

Centered on a robust investigation experience through a basic, clinical, or translational research project with an experienced mentor that matches their professional interests, MRSP provides students with a dedicated curriculum of academic activities featuring world-renowned clinician-scientists, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops.

Over 600 alumni strong, MRSP has a proven history of helping launch the next generation of biomedical researchers into highly successful, impactful careers. The I am Intramural blog offers a glimpse into how this career development program has benefited some of our recent students.

The NIH MRSP team will be conducting a virtual information webinar at 1 pm ET October 10. Webinar details will be provided in August.

Email mrsp@mail.nih.gov with your questions.

Students in their second, third, or fourth year are eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is December 2: Apply Starting September 1!
