As the IU School of Medicine MD Class of 1985 approaches its 35-year reunion on June 12-13, 2020, the time is right to support the class scholarship endowment. The average student debt at the end of medical school is over $214,000. With this burden weighing down new physicians, medical students face delaying their lives and paying this debt for up to 20 years.
Together, it’s possible to make a difference in these students’ lives. The Class of 1985 and Todd B. Taylor, MD Leadership Award will live in perpetuity and support medical students for years to come. Currently, our class scholarship has almost $90,000 contributed by classmates like you, and our goal is to reach $100,000 by June 2020 to complete our endowment.
Please consider making a gift or pledge today to help shape the future of medicine.
