As the IU School of Medicine MD Class of 1970 approaches its 50-year reunion on June 12-13, 2020, the time is right to support the class scholarship endowment. The average student debt at the end of medical school is over $214,000. With this burden weighing down new physicians, medical students face delaying their lives and paying this debt for up to 20 years.
Together, it’s possible to make a difference in these students’ lives. The Class of 1970 David M. Gibson and George T. Lukemeyer Scholarship will live in perpetuity and support medical students for years to come.
Please consider making a gift or pledge today to help shape the future of medicine.
