Women’s Advisory Council

The Indiana University School of Medicine Women’s Advisory Council provides a critical advisory role for the school’s efforts to create a culture that promotes faculty vitality and diversity with a particular emphasis on the advancement of women in medicine and science. The Women’s Advisory Council works toward an environment where all members of the school community can thrive.

The Women’s Advisory Council is composed of a broad representation of selected volunteers committed to a comprehensive concept of diversity. These individuals can bring experience, expertise and insights to bear on schoolwide diversity initiatives. Members serve on a year-to-year basis depending upon their level of interest, attendance and participation.
