Gerber to Present Research at ARVO

Austin Gerber, MSIII at Indiana University School of Medicine - South Bend (IUSM-SB), has been invited to present his research on glaucoma at the 2012 annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
Gerber is first author of a study “Changes in Retrobulbar Blood Flow Correlate to Changes in Optic Disc in Patients with Glaucoma.” He will deliver a poster presentation. He will be joined at ARVO by his mentor and research partner Alon Harris, M.S., Ph.D., FARVO, Lois Letzer Professor of Ophthalmology and director of clinical research at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute.
The annual ARVO meeting is the world’s largest gathering of international eye and vision researchers. It takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., May 6-10.
