-Information on pay advices and direct deposit
OneStart
-Log into OneStart to view monthly pay advices, change federal W-4 withholdings, and update your mailing address.  Just log in using your IUPUI username and password.  Make sure you're in the brown "Services" tab, and look in the menu to your left for "Employee Center." 
This same menu contains an option to update your direct deposit bank account.
NOTE: In addition to changing your address in OneStart, be sure to e-mail your new address to Graduate Medical Education at houstaff@iupui.edu.
W-2 Online Delivery
-To sign up for W-2 online delivery, go to OneStart and select Employee Center from the Services Tab.  The Tax Information panel is located on the right hand side under Payroll Information, where your paycheck is located.  Select edit for W-2 Online Delivery.  For more information visit the W-2 Home webpage.

Pay Period Reminder- You will be paid monthly on the last business day of the month except for the December paycheck which will be paid on the first business day in January.  No advance pay can be made.  Please adjust automatic payments accordingly.

SCRUBMATES
Scrubmates is an organization for spouses of Indiana University School of Medicine residents and fellows.  Their members are a diverse group of individuals.  Their goal is to provide support and social opportunities for their members.  They offer many different interest groups and social events, and engage in philanthropic activities.  This organization is a great way to  meet new people, get acclimated to living in Indianapolis, and survive/enjoy residency.

Announcements

  • Attention Residents While on rotation at the VA:
    The VA facility has a FREE Van Service that operates between 9pm and 5am.  This service provides transport from VA property to the Eskenazi Garage or almost any parking lot in the area.  Please call 988-2200 and request Van Service.
    (On the weekends, holidays, and after hours trainees can park at the VA).
  • To produce a legal prescription you must enter the following items:
    -Full name -printed legibly
    -Hospital name and address, including the city
    -DEA number- permanent number is issued, or Hospital DEA number plus the last five digits of your SSN.
    -Indiana medical license number
    -National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
    -Correct quantity box must be marked on Indiana Security prescription blanks for controlled drugs
     
  • If you marry or have a child, you must complete an online form to add the dependent(s) to your insurance within thirty days of the event.  Please see the Benefits section to link to the online application.
  • IMPORTANT: If your home address changes during the course of your training, please update it in MedHub.
  • Notice of Increase in J-1 Sponsorship Application Fee :
    Effective January 1, 2010, ECFMG's J-1 sponsorship application fee will increase from $200 to $250. ECFMG encourages applicants to pay the application fee through ECFMG's On-line Applicant Status and Information System (OASIS), which can be accessed through the ECFMG website at www.ecfmg.org. Please note that the J-1 sponsorship application fee is non-refundable.
