How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in applying to the Indiana University School of Medicine Health Professions Programs (HPP). All programs require that applicants meet their minimum admissions requirements. To learn more about these requirements, please look at the program's section in the IUPUI campus bulletin (2012-14).
The application for admission for entry in spring, summer, or fall 2012 can be found in our Deadlines & Application section. Please use that link to either download the application (available in PDF format) -- it is at the bottom of that page. If you have any questions, please contact the HPP Administrative Office at (317) 278-4752 or email askhpp@iupui.edu.
Prerequisites for each program are found in the Advising Information section found in the left-hand menu.
Important things to note:
- All Applicants to the Health Professions Programs must first complete an application for enrollment on the IUPUI campus (317) 274-4591, or apply@iupui.edu. Actively enrolled students on the IUPUI campus do not need to complete this process. However, if you last enrolled at the IUPUI campus more than one year ago, you must update your enrollment status.
- Please note the various application deadlines. Applications received after the program's deadline will be given second priority. In some instances, that means waiting an additional year to be considered.
- Admissions policies are available to all applicants and could improve chances of being admitted.
- Some programs have additional forms which must be submitted at time of application.
- International applicants must apply at International Admissions. For more information on the international student application process, please contact (317) 274-7000 or intlaff@iupui.edu.
- Histotechnology students please refer to the link on the left or click here.
Enrollment at Indiana University does not guarantee admission to any of the IU School of Medicine Health Professions Programs. To be eligible for admissions to one of these programs, students must adhere to the academic regulations of the academic unit in which they are enrolled and meet School and individual program preadmission requirements as stipulated in the general education and program sections of the most recent bulletin. Admission to many programs is competitive; therefore, completion of the prerequisites and meeting the minimum grade point averages does not guarantee admission to the program. To be considered for admission, students must complete an application in the year prior to entry by the program's stated application deadline.
