Indiana University

March 10th is National Histotechnology Professionals Day and we celebrate with the 815 alums of the IU School of Medicine Certificate in the Histotechnology Program as they carry out this very important role on a daily basis.  In addition, another 38 students have gone on to complete their associate degree with us.  By the end of this year, we hope to add close to 60 more students as alums to these two programs.

We are fortunate that students of this program have represented at least 48 states as well as several international locales (Canada, France, Korea, and the US Virgin Islands).  For more information about this career, please check out this information as provided by the National Society for Histotechnology.

If you are interested in the program, please click here for more information.  In most cases, you must have access to a qualified training laboratory.
