Bio
Chelsea Schmoll, DO, is an assistant professor of neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine. She joined IU School of Medicine Faculty in 2023. She is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in neuroimmunology. Dr. Schmoll’s expertise lies in treating various neuro-immunologic disorders including multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, MOG antibody associated disease, autoimmune encephalitis and neurologic manifestations of systemic autoimmune and inflammatory disease.
Dr. Schmoll attended medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, graduating in 2018. She then completed her residency training at IU School of Medicine, graduating in 2022. Following the completion of her neurology residency, Dr. Schmoll completed a one-year transition to practice fellowship in neuroimmunology with IU School of Medicine.
Dr. Schmoll is from the southside of Indianapolis, and she is thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve her home community as part of the IU team. She is a passionate advocate of high-quality neurologic care, with a particular focus on empowering her patients with knowledge, enabling them to make informed decisions about their individual healthcare journeys.
