The AMPATH Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) program has served over 1,200 children in the past two years. AMPATH’s newest initiative is to stem the growing number of orphans in Kenya –- now at 2 million -- with house-by-house testing of men and women for HIV/AIDS to prevent the spread of the virus.
