The Indiana University School of Medicine greatly appreciates the support of our alumni. Gifts from our graduates are essential to maintaining the School's tradition of excellence in medical education, research and patient care. The Class of 1989 has not yet established a Class Gift, but many opportunities exist for you to support the School. In particular, there is an acute need for money to provide scholarships to today's medical students. Put simply, medical school is more expensive than ever. Our 2008 graduates incurred an average debt of $150,000 to finance their medical education. Additional scholarship support is necessary for students to pursue a career in medicine and for Indiana University to continue attracting the best and most compassionate future physicians. You can help meet this need by contributing to the School of Medicine Annual Scholarship Fund.
