Neuromuscular Disorders

Patients with suspected or proven neuromuscular disease are evaluated and managed by physician specialists in the Neuromuscular Disease Program. Patients are seen in a Muscular Dystrophy Association-sponsored Neuromuscular Clinic or in clinics at IU Hospital of Clarian Health and Regenstrief Health Center. A Multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the care of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) meets every other week.

Services include state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, such as electrodiagnosis, muscle and nerve biopsy and genetic testing.
