Indiana University School of Medicine is part of the combined metropolitan campus of Indiana and Purdue Universities which also features undergraduate schools of both I.U. and Purdue and the I.U. Schools of Law, Business, Dentistry, and Nursing. Excellent athletic facilities have hosted the Pan-American Games, the Olympic Trials, RCA Tennis championships, and NCAA championships in swimming and track. These resources make our urban campus vibrant and exciting, a partner with one of the most progressive and economically healthy cities in the United States.
A number of other facilities provide services to I.U. and Purdue students in Indianapolis. The campus Union Building houses a credit union, cafeteria, and bookstore. The University Place Conference Center and Hotel provides excellent hotel services as well as a variety of dining opportunities ranging from fast food to continental cuisine. In addition, it offers high tech conference facilities easily accessed by faculty and house staff.
