Indiana University School of Medicine sponsors seventy-five residency and fellowship programs. The training programs are affiliated with Clarian I.U. Hospital, Clarian Riley Hospital for Children, Clarian Methodist Hospital, Wishard Health Services, Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center, and Larue Carter Hospital. All of the hospital buildings are located approximately two miles from downtown Indianapolis. The medical staffs of these hospitals are comprised of members of the faculty of the School. The training programs provide a balance of primary, secondary and tertiary and inpatient quartiary care; ambulatory care; emergency care; and community health. The School of Medicine's Ruth Lilly Library is located in the Medical Research and Library Building on the IUPUI Campus. In addition, a professional library is located at most of our affiliate hospitals.
