Dear Prospective Student and Affiliate Laboratory:

Thank you for your interest in the Indiana University School of Medicine Histotechnology Program.  We are excited to offer this non-traditional academic training opportunity to students and technicians in their laboratories.  In the last three years alone over 140 students have successfully completed the Certificate Program.  Since the program inception in 1995, we are proud that approximately 510 students from at least 43 states and Canada have successfully completed the Certificate Program.

From this site you will be able to find all the items necessary to be considered for admission.  Please read the instructions carefully, follow directions, and submit all items requested as a packet.   All forms must be completed in full for consideration in the admissions process.  Failure to comply with directions will result in delays which could preclude your admission in time for the beginning of classes.  Please follow the checklist closely to ensure that you application packet is considered complete at the time of submission.

Although we hope to accommodate students in all laboratory sites that want to participate, clinical sites and their student(s) are limited each year.  While timely submission of all required parts will help assure a place in the class, it does not guarantee it. Please remember that the Certificate Program has an application deadline of May 1, 2009.  Applications to the Associate Degree are accepted year round.
